It is important that you do not underestimate the recommendations that treatment experts can make to you because they know the implications that can be had before, during, and after the procedure. However, the sense of self-care is never too much.


Consider the following contraindications if you want to get a Celluma treatment: 


  • All photo-sensitive drugs are a contraindication for Celluma.  Allow 3-5 days before administering Celluma.
  • Do not use if you are on steroidal medication – injections only. Allow 3-5 days before administering Celluma.
  • Do not use it over a pregnant belly, but you can use it over the face.
  • Do not use if you have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
  • Do not use over any cancer or any known metastasis before getting clearance from your doctor(s).
  • Do not use it on children under 12 years old.
